There's plenty to report from Feral headquarters these days. A couple of weeks ago we began the releasing of music from our upcoming album... the first double single is Loose Ends / Holy Man [buy it on bandcamp!] and we're hella excited about it. So far the response to the songs, live and recorded, has been awesome and humbling. Thanks for sharing the love and making us feel like rock stars. The next double should be coming out in May - we have some surprises in store for that one... does it make you shiver with antici.... pation?
Our other big news is that tomorrow we start our epic run of Bay Area show with Canadian superstars... the Juno-Nominated Carolyn Mark and the New Best Friends! The roster of shows is below, but for our San Francisco pals - YOU GET THE FIRST TWO! Sunday 4pm for the Original Twang Sunday at Thee Parkside and/or Tuesday 8pm at El Rio. After that we're down for some fun in Santa Cruz / San Juan Bautista. The shows down south also feature the epic Mr. Partys themselves - HonkyDonky and the Heartbreaker - woo! Then it's back to SF / Berkeley the following weekend for an epic show on Saturday night at the Plough and Stars with the amazing americana singer / songwriter Storm Florez, and a super fun folkpunk acoustic night at 924 Gilman Street with lots of local musician on Sunday. You know what they say... what good is sitting alone in your room? Come hear the MUSIC play!
We will have buttons, stickers, and the special, fancy, limited edition art for Loose Ends / Holy Man in our merch case just waiting for you to give it a new home.
And... of course in preparation for our touring with Canadians, we've been training our livers. Enjoy this special - Canadians Are Coming Edition of Ed's Wine Blog, filmed on location at the ManBox in East Oakland. Watch for the extra special Priscilla Widebottom cameo!
Dear Feral Family,
The moment we've ALL been waiting for has arrived. We just launched our first official release on bandcamp! Loose Ends was recorded by the amazing Laura Talon for us in Emeryville, and Holy Man was recorded by TC Bonelocs at the ManBox in East Oakland as a part of the Lost Priscilla Sessions. We scraped our souls raw to craft these tunes about love, loss, betrayal, regret, and longing. Share with friends and enjoy responsibly..
Things are still rolling along here at Feral headquarters. We've got a couple of new songs we can't wait to share and some shows coming up that we can't wait to see you at! First up - THIS SATURDAY! POETS! MUSIC! BOOZE! Come on out and get thee to some good times!
